Venice Gardens Foundation Onlus is dedicated to the restoration of the Royal Gardens
of St Mark’s in the city of Venice and to preserving, maintaining and managing them,
for a renewable period of 19 years, by virtue of the Act of Concession of the Agenzia
del Demanio of the Italian State, which was signed also by the City of Venice, on 23
December 2014, with the approval of the Soprintendenza dei Beni Architettonici e
Paesaggistici.
On February 25, 2016, pursuant to Section No. 8 of the Act of Concession, Venice Gardens Foundation Onlus incorporated a limited liability company (owning 100% of its share capital) named "Venice Gardens S.r.l. Impresa Sociale".
Venice Gardens S.r.l. Impresa Sociale was incorporated in order to manage all activities relating to the renovation, innovation and development of the Royal Gardens, including the tendering procedures and the subsequent relationships with the appointed subcontractors
